Lou LiBassi is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Precision Mechanisms Corp. (PMC) an engineering and manufacturing company that produces superior products for the aerospace, industrial and defense industry.
During his 30 year tenure with PMC, Lou has held a series of an impressive amount of leadership roles across the business, including but not limited to Product Management, Information Technology Manager, Purchasing Manager, Manufacturing Manager, AS9100 and ISO9001 Management Representative.
Lou had led the companies transformation from a Mil-Std 45208 quality inspection system to a World class AS 9100 Quality Management System. He streamlined operation planning reducing product lead times to fulfill new and expand customers requirements. Lou also reduced manufacturing inventories by promoting lean manufacturing activities utilizing lean and JIT methods, along with developed a dock-to-stock program with strategic partnership suppliers.
Lou holds both a Masters Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology and a Master of Business Administration. Recently Lou has been invited to sit on the board of Pace University School Of Business.
Currently residing in North Babylon, Long Island, New York with his wife, Mindy. Where Lou and Mindy participate and donate to local charities and associations. Lou and Mindy are proud and active grandparents to their six (6) grandchildren.
